THE RIGHT PEOPLE
Our support workers are given social and community training, for example on how to behave when with Service Users, on confidentiality, and on Service Users’’ rights. All support workers and office based employees are encouraged to undertake RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) qualifications in Health and Social Care, with a view to exceeding the requirements set out in the National Minimum Standards for Care Agencies. This RQF qualification builds on the Induction and Foundation training. Specialist training would also be arranged for support workers if they are caring for Service Uses with specialist needs or conditions, or if they are just keen to progress their skills.
